CSI 238

Down under here in Australia  we are meant to be in spring but the weather is still lingering winter!
But our northern friends are enjoying  what we call Autumn! When I saw this colour palette  these photos  came to mind, plus the evidence was ideal
Polka dot
Enamel dots
TESTIMONY is tucked in the tag

I combined  the challege with Stuck Sketches September 1 challenge
Thanks for the inspiration!

Kraft plus August Trees

The photos are about the TREES not the embellishments !
My son is always taking the opportunity  to lie down and he couldn't  pass this one!!!
When I  asked what title  do I use, this was his answer!
I couldn't  resist using this  range
 Zip-a-dee doodle from Bo Bunny.
Looks fun and youthful!
When we arived at Christchurch Botanical Gardens  this was the first of the many and varied majestic  trees we saw!

Scrap our stash August

Polaroid, brads, Simple Stories (heart, today, arrow, chipboard)
I have had  these Polaroids from Kaiserkraft and not known  what to do with them! So I turned them upside  and put the coordinating papers from the Lilac Whisper  range https://www.kaisercraft.com.au in them.
The brads have been in my  stash for possibly  10 years!
For the inspiration  and challenge!!

My backing paper is roses, which I  fussy cut some of the roses out
layering them over the kraft cardstock.
Stenciled  more roses and

CSI 234

Such a fun colour palette!!
I have  so many  fun memories visiting this amazing place in Wanaka New Zealand!
I created a scallop border, used a checkerboard paper background,  added some triangles and scattered my journaling around the page.
I also used stuck sketches

Paper Issues

My first challenge entry with Paper Issues try it Tuesday
Link below, add water to any arty stuff!

I used Tim Holtz distress stains,
just splatter by hitting it down on the page, dry some then do others and gently mist with water . Move page around to allow  water to run.
Baby wipes are essential  for cleaning  excess.
These are 3 individual photos  taken on sport mode,
I just love how they join up.

230 CSI

Decided to  work with a black background which gives the colours a totally different  look.
Because I wanted  to use these photos  that work with  the transport theme,
It meant  I had to give it a strong base.
The colours are very  vibrant so I made  lavender the dominant  one to contrast  with  the photos.
For the   evidence
Phrase stickers
Testimony is a road trip

Can you recognize the  sketch?
Yes I had to adjust it slightly!
But the bones are there!

Kraftplus May

So much inspiration  for this exciting  challenge!
Would you believe that I used  an old template from my early days of scrapbooking  to create  these octagons. They are certainly not perfect but the  process was fun!

I crochet little  flowers, add them to my stash and use them as needed!

I got a book of Tim Holtz idea-ology word stickers which is full of interesting quotes!
